What we've been up to.

Anna-Marie has been singing Christmas carols every morning. It was been wonderful to listen to.

Bayly had is very first spirit day at school. It was PJ Day. He was so excited to wear Pj's to school.

He chose to wear his T-Rex Pj's. This is not his favorite but when I asked why he chose them he said that he wanted to wear his Buzz Lightyear ones that night.(he had it all planned out)

We also put on my favorite chirstmas music. Some good old Kenny and Dolly(this is a tradition in my family) and decorated to Christmas tree. The kids did most of it.(that's right I let the kids do it)

even mason got to help.

With a little help from daddy, Anna got to put on the star.

the bumbo

For the past month i have been trying to get Ryder to sit in the bumbo. Mason used to love it. He would sit in it for an hour just watching the kids play. Not Ryder. Not even close. Everyday it has been the same bad experience. He arches his back, pushes his butt in the air and screams his face off as he trys to get out.

But not today..
today he liked it. YES!!!!!

Family Filled Weekend

Well my dad has retired. That's right, he's finally done. No more 5am mornings for him.

To celebrate his retirement his work gave him a wonderful retirement party at a nice hotel. And to celebrate even more all 7 of his children and their families attended.

Their was 32 of us all together. God bless the men who took our family pictures. It was not easy dealing with two 5 year olds, two 4year olds, one 2 year old and 4 children under 2 years of age. I am anxious to see how they turn out.

The food was awesome. Chicken, roast beef, potato salad, vegetables and amazing desserts. (i ate way too much) It was also nice to see how much the people my dad worked with loved and appreciate him.

We were so excited to be together and so happy that my dad can finally relax.

although i think my dad was more excited than us. he is bursting with joy.

Jeans....

...they don't lie. When you put on a little weight and your husband loves you to much to notice and your friends are too nice to say it, your jeans will be there to tell you the truth.

these are my favorite pair of jeans
I love them but have not been able to wear them since having baby Ryder.
Three times before I have been pregnant and every time I have lost all weight gained during pregnancy. This time is NOT going to be different.
I have started CHALEAN EXTREME and I love it all ready. However I do need a little motivation. I have hung up my jeans in front of my bedroom window so I see them ALL THE TIME. Doing this reminds me of my goal. The goal to fit back into my favorite pair of jeans.

Watch Week

This past Saturday was watch week at Anna's dance studio. It was so fun to watch all the little ballerinas. I get a little emotional everytime I watch her. My only little girl is growing up fast.

This year is a little different then last year. They do Ballet, Tap, and Tumbling. Anna's favorite is the tap. I think because the shoes make noise.

The Bear walk

I have no idea what she is doing

Sick

I'm sick. I mean really sick. Sick with strep throat kind of sick. My body hurts from my head to me toes. Everytime I eat it feels like I'm swollowing a knife. The worst part is.....

I can't give this little guy the kisses he deserves

School

Bayly has started kindergarten. We bought him a backpack, new in door shoes, picked out a "first day of school outfit" and he was ready to go. He was so excited to ride the bus that when it got there he didn't even give me a huge. He quickly said "Bye Mom" and ran on and sat down beside the other little boy starting school. I almost cried. I couldn't stop thinking "he can't go, I'm not ready for this"

This is the sight I see everyday and everyday I still get a little bit sad to see him go.

Waiting in line at school
Happy to be there and wishing I would stop taking pictures.

I decided to let him ride the bus and then meet him at school. I am glad I did because there was alot of other parents there to take pictures. Bayly was happy to see me but wasn't sad to see me go.
When he got home he said that riding the bus is soooo much fun, he loved school, and that he missed me. This made me feel better.

Bonding

As I lay on my bed, facebooking on my laptop, my little angel rolls on his side, snuggles his face into my belly and tugs on my shirt as he falls asleep.
I'm loving every minute of it.

Just about time

My belly is getting bigger and the time is running out. With only 2.5 weeks left I am finally getting around to organizing this house. I still have tons to do but it should only take a couple days and everything will be ready for our last little baby (well I think it's the last. maybe not). We are all so excited for this little guy to join our family. I am interested to know if I am finally going to feel like our family is complete.
I have the summer off from babysitting and with Canada Day, swimming lessons, play dates, water parks, and family coming to town it has been a really nice break. However I am still very tired and need to nap almost everyday, that did not go away.
a little Canada Day adventures at the park

Getting Bigger

My sister called yesterday and told me I need to put up a picture of my growing belly. So here I am at 34 weeks. Only 6 more to go.

The weather here has been pretty hot so naturally the kids and I are loveing it.

mmmm....... cold fruit on a hot day.

We went over to Grandpa's house and took advantage of his nice backyard. Bayly loves to jump on the trampoline.

They even have a little swimming pool for the kids to cool down.

Busy Busy Weekend

It first started on Thursday night, we had a meeting at Baylys school. It was really weird being there at my old school with my kindergarten teacher talking about my son going to school. He loves the idea of going to school next year. On the other hand I am crazy worried about sending him off to school next year. I know that every year 5 year olds go to school and are perfectly fine but I am not completely okay with the idea of handing over my son to someone else 5 days a week who is also in charge of 24 other kids. I know I sound like a crazy mother and I know that I need to let go. This is a necessary step in life that everyone has to do (that is what I keep telling myself).
Then comes Friday, the night we have been talking about all month.
When we went to see Monsters vs Aliens we saw the trailer for UP and the kids could not wait for it to come out. I was asked almost daily to go on youtube so they could see the trailer again.
Matthew and I both liked Monster vs Aliens better but the kids say UP was the best.
Now time for Saturday it was a busy day going to Grandpa's in the morning to play outside and help plant flowers. Then in the afternoon going to Bobbi's house the play with her girls. The kids all loved it especially Anna who was completely over come with girl stuff. All the barbies, Barbie house, littlest pet shop, dress up clothes, and they even have a ballet video that you can follow along with.
Then after that is time to go home bath up and off to a wedding reception. It was wonderful, the food, the decorations everything. I wish I could have stayed longer but by 8:15 my kids were tired so it was time to go home and off to bed to get a good sleep for church the next morning.
Like I said, it was a busy weekend but fun was had by all.

Mothers Day

Mothers Day was wonderful. I got a pancake breakfast with whip cream and strawberries, lots of hugs and lots of kisses. On Friday went out for supper at one of our fav places to eat and we finally got to see this..

It was awesome. You might think I'm crazy for wanting to see this on my mothers day date but I totally loved it.

6 months and counting

With a due date of July 30 I have just past the 6 month mark. I am feeling pretty good. No sickness anymore just the normal tiredness, back pain, and for some reason my legs like to get a bit swollen sometimes. This has been making my knees and angles hurt. So I talked to the doctor and she said to drink as much water as I can and put my feet up at night. I know, poor me I have to put my feet up at night.

Since I know you are all very curious to know how big my belly is I decided today to take a photo so you all can see. This is me at 27 1/2 weeks.

Some of this...

but mostly this...

Now the cold is gone and the smile is back. (oh how I missed this)

oh and in case you are wondering how I entertain the big kids while Mas is have his "I'm not going to stop crying" moments.

Cartoons on youtube did just the trick.

Lesson Learned?

Running in the house is never a good idea. However running in the house, in your socks, on hardwood floors is an even worse idea. Just ask my son who ran, slipped and fell right into the corner of the wall.

So now for the big question. Has he learned his lesson? The answer is absolutey NOT. I am still yelling "NO RUNNING IN THE HOUSE".

BOYS..... they never listen. I don't know how I'm going to do it with 3.
